More Tree Creatures

Here are some new ornaments and some old ones on the tree.

A Bewick's wren

A black-billed magpie

A brown creeper

A horned grebe

A long-nosed snake

The streets were covered with ice today, so Sarah and I did not drive anywhere .

The small wetland was frozen over, so the mallards had to find open water elsewhere.

I'm sad your mallards left you, but yor critter tree is coming along beautifully. I hope you warm up!

I think the wolf eel is one of my favorite....then again, I do have a bit of a marine biology bias.

I'm also here to tag you with the Six Random Facts meme. I was convinced to participate because it's an interesting way to learn more about the person behind some of our favorite blogs. You can get the scoop from my latest blog post:

You've been away from Montana too long if you've ceased driving when it gets icy! It was -35 with the windchill here a couple of days ago and -21 yesterday without any wind. Betcha miss it, huh?
